Comrades ,yes going to USA seems impossible but its one of the best country/embassy you can go and get your visa without much stress,I said without much stress because American Embassy is real ,accessible and listens . They're strict yes but simple if you can afford their requirements ,do you know that the bank statements,the CEO of the company's sponsorship letter that you brought along to the embassy are not been looked on by the Embassy's interviewers ?
The USA embassy do no entertain too much drama,they are psychologists who monitors your body language and decide whether or not to grant you visa most times without crosschecking your documents.
So some of these few tips can help you to go about your USA visa and complete your dreams
My story as a young Nigeria traveller :
After my graduation,I joined my brother in business in onitsha the lucrative business sub of south eastern nigeria ,Onitsha is to the glory of God and interest of all ,the vastest ,the biggest commercial city in Africa with over 30 thousand lockup shops followed by Lagos in the west,Kano in the north and the recent Abuja ,the federal capital Territory
As a young business man,I've this zeal of wanting to eat the world,deep down my heart,I know I wanted to live good life,I've never let fears or poverty to slim my ideas about living good life ,I've always believed that I can make it in life,do lot of exploits ,build empires and eat the world entirely
One day, I picked one packet of an A4 photocopy paper ,as I was reading about the product and the producer,I saw the producer's address and copied it down
Then the next morning I went to cyber cafe to send mail to the company fortunately for me,one of the girls who was working in the cyber cafe liked me and we become very close that I left my pin to her so she can be checking my email .On the fourth day,she came to my office with a good news
The company replied me and that's how we started exchanging mails till I asked for letter of invitation to visit their company which the company's sales director for Africa did not waste time to send to my address through dhl
Then the following days was to prepare and proceed to get my first ever visa with no help of agent .
Most importantly,my excelling in getting my first visa was pratically based on self composture,the way I answered the questions ,confidence and the well arranged documents even though the interviewer did not asked about my documents but my visa was granted the immediate day ,always give the embassy the reasons to believe in you .
SOME TIPS: ,first of all if you have this dream of travelling to America,make sure you have sufficient fund in your account or a sponsor who is ready to bring all those documents the embassy required eg, sponsor's bank statement ,letter of sponsorship ,landed property documents of the sponsor ,atleast six months valid Nigerian passport or travel documents
Sometimes ,the funniest thing is the embassy does not check your documents to ascertain whether to grant or deny you visa.
1:Truthfulness ---be truthful of what you tells the interviewer ,most often people make this mistake of over blowing what you need to tell the embassy thereby messing themselves up,be picky with your statements and answer certainly what you have been asked by the interviewer ,if the answer to what you was ask is A,just say A without adding nothing ,be diplomatic with your answers .
2:Confidence-- To get USA visa,you need to have confidence in you,know that it is not a do or die affair or a must to grant you visa. Do you know why most Yorubas lives abroad? it is because they're not tired of asking for visa,so if you were denied visa this february ,you can relax a bit,change your situation little more then reapply in like six months intervals ,be composed,know exactly what you want ,how to answer ,why or the reason of travelling to USA ,tell them where or which cities you wish to visit ,tell the time you wish to return to Nigeria,present yourself well dressed and be in the best mood and never you panic
3: In USA embassies,it is prohibited to deal with agents ,it is well well announced in their Nigerian embassy ,so in your USA visa pursuit,do your processing yourself and direct your dealings to the embassy unless the embassy directed otherwise
4: Reasons for applying for usa visa: there must be a genuine reason for applying for visa ,let's assume you want to spend your vacation in USA ,or you want to go for shopping or conference ,In this point please you must be accurate in telling them the dates you want to travel,how many days you wish to spend and come back .if you you want to spend 3 week,make sure to do hotel reservation,which can change when you reach to America,sometimes the hotel's that appears in search machines are very costly ,so my advice is you can lodge in the hotel the first day of landing ,then look for cheaper hotel once you are in USA .Google nearer cities to the principal city you want to go,then tell the interviewer that after your dealings ,you would like to visit ,last Vegas,San Francisco,San Antonio etc.
5: Conference --Many Nigerians do not know that there are lot of conferences that are going on around the globe all year round and large number of them are being hold in USA . Since you have Android phones,just google conferences in USA ,UK or Europe the search engines will bring you all different conferences,the theme of the conference ,the time table and form of applying . In most cases,conferencies concerning healthcare,climatic change,politics and Africa are the most conference being held all year round
You can copy their address and write them about your interest to be in the conference ,sometimes the conference are paid conference ,so must pay and satisy your receipt of payment then they will send you a letter of invitation to participate to the conference which you have to go to the embassy with for your visa process
6: Immigration-- USA immigration is the ladt authority to allow you to enter inside USA territory ,yes USA visa is the first authority but not the final authority
